VAPE FAQS

VAPE FAQS

How does Vaping works?

Vaping works when e-liquid is heated, creating vapour that is then inhaled and exhaled. E-liquids are available in different nicotine strengths and even without nicotine. Vaping is considered a healthier alternative to smoking.

Vaping is the inhalation and exhalation of vapour while using an electronic cigarette/disposable vape. The evolution of smoking replaces many negative associations with the old habit of burning tobacco. The technical term for steam is a liquid aerosol comparable to how a kettle heats a liquid like water and creates steam.

What are the main components of electronic cigarettes?

A vapour consists of 3 main components:

1. Battery or Mod machine

2. Tank (filled the e-liquid). Usually, a plastic or glass vial with a wick inside and a coil of resistance wire that gets hot.

3. E-liquid or Vape liquid

The battery sends a current through the coil of resistance wire (inside the Tank) wrapped around a wick or cotton ball, which is gently heated to a vaporizer, transforming the saturated e-liquid into vapour.

Which VAPE should I begin?

It is a very personal decision, to be honest. Vape Bars with a refillable tank system can take some getting used to, but you can use more flavours and deliver more clouds than e-cigarettes that look like tobacco cigarettes. These vapes are specially designed to be more rewarding for users. You can get advice from one of our e-cigarette specialists and exchange ideas with other e-cigarette users in the chat option.

What are the advantages of electronic cigarettes over traditional cigarettes?

Regular cigarette smoke contains more than 3,000 chemicals, including 45 carcinogens (cancer-causing chemicals) and 300 other toxins. These include nicotine, tar, carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, ammonia, hydrocyanic acid, arsenic, and DDT.

This includes related products such as vaping devices, coils, atomizers, vape juices, or heated tobacco products. It is also illegal for adults to buy, or be caught buying, tobacco products or e-cigarettes for those under 18.

How much will it cost me to switch to vaping?

However, there are other additional expenses regarding smoking.

If you smoke in the vehicle, an air humidifier is essential to avoid drowning the car seats with smoke.

It would help if you got rid of bad breath, and let's not even add in extra ancillary costs like dental hygiene, increased cleaning fees for laundry, home and bathroom, car, and health-related expenditures.

What is in e-liquid?

E-cigarettes do not contain real tobacco or other harmful ingredients like carbon monoxide and tar found in traditional cigarettes. Instead, electronic cigarettes use a liquid nicotine solution called e-liquid or e-juice. What exactly is an e-liquid? E-Liquid consists of four essential ingredients; Water, nicotine, aromas and a base of propylene glycol or vegetable glycerin (or sometimes a mixture of PG and VG).

Nicotine: The addictive ingredient found in e-cigarettes and traditional cigarettes. Nicotine stimulates the central nervous system and increases blood pressure, respiration, and heart rate. When nicotine enters the brain, it triggers a feeling of pleasure as dopamine levels rise. Manufacturers tend to offer their products in different nicotine strength ranges, ranging from zero to 36 milligrams per millilitre. Although not considered a carcinogen, nicotine is still addictive and, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, can "prime the brain for addiction to other substances."

Flavours: There are over seven thousand flavours, including Cherry, Coconut, Berry, Fresh Apple, Sweet Pie, Cinnamon, and even Tobacco. It would be impossible to list all of the flavour-creating chemicals here, but one chemical that stands out is diacetyl. Diacetyl is commonly used to impart a buttery flavour to popcorn. Although I think that the chemical product is easily swallowed, there is more than enough evidence that the inhalation of diacetyl can cause an incurable malady called obliterating bronchiolitis (OB), likewise continued under the name of "common" popcorn".

Propylene Glycol (PG): This laboratory-made liquid is generally considered safe by the FDA in food, drug, and cosmetics. It is also used to create artificial smoke or fog for performances. However, it can irritate the lungs and eyes and may be more harmful to people with chronic lung conditions such as asthma and emphysema.

Glycerin: Colorless, odourless liquid glycerin has a slightly sweet taste. Like PG, it is generally considered safe by the FDA. It is found in many products, including

Why does the e-liquid come out of the Vape (atomizer) and into my mouth?

If the coil is too saturated, the excess e-liquid in the atomizer can overflow the Tank, and you can end up with drops of e-liquid on your lips/mouth. If you get e-liquid in your mouth, it's a good idea to rinse your mouth with plenty of water.

Choose the correct ohms.

The first question is actually, "What is an ohm?". The ohms for your vape clearomizer or similar vape tank device are referred here. Before you head off into the dark corners of the internet to have fans or so-called experts tell you which is right for you, remember that everyone is different. Everyone has other individual likes and dislikes when it comes to vaping. It would be a very dull world if we didn't do that.

You have to keep reading and find out which is the best for you in an informed way and with some trial and error.

What is an ohm?

The ohmic level is a measure of electrical resistance. The standard or regular ohm reading for vaping and your tank is between 2.4 and 2.8. Ohm is the most common ohm range chosen by those looking for replacement coils, with 2.5 being the most determined. This preset level provides the most consistent story for your vaporizer.

What is the difference between ohm values when vaping?

The fundamental difference between a low ohm and a high ohm in terms of smoking enjoyment and preference here:

A lower ohm coil

If you use a lower ohm replacement coil, you can expect the following:

• Hotter steam
• Often more steam (more heat in the coil creates more steam)
• A decisive blow (hot)
• Your e-liquid will be consumed faster
• Low ohm coils can cause premature battery failure.

What happens when you switch to vaping

Here are a variety of things that happen when you quit. Many find that quitting smoking benefits their health and improves their mental health and well-being. It is also worth noting that you will also see how much you will save by quitting smoking. Today, when every pound counts, smoking is a costly bad habit. Even when switching to vaping, the savings are considerable.

The NHS has developed a valuable tool to help you find out how much you could save by quitting smoking.

The benefits of vaping and how it can help you quit smoking

Vaping is often touted as a great way to quit smoking, and for a good reason. As mentioned, it offers smokers a way to get a nicotine boost to combat cravings and provides a similar experience to smoking. However, one of the most notable benefits is damage reduction.

It is widely accepted that vaping is harmful, especially for those who have never smoked, but it is 95% less harmful than smoking. Unfortunately, some people still mistakenly believe that vaping is just as dangerous or even more harmful than smoking, primarily due to misinformation often spread by the media.

The advice from Public Health England in the UK has always been to support smokers switching to vaping to quit, with 50,000 smokers using e-cigarettes each year. However, a recent study by Public Health England found that vaping was more effective than traditional NRTs for smoking cessation.

One of the benefits of vaping is that it helps you save on costs. Smoking is a costly problem, significantly since the price of cigarettes increases over time. Smoking today can cost around £400 a month (that's almost £5000 a year), and that's just based on average figures.

Heavy smokers will likely see more money out of their pockets each month. On the other hand, vaping is around four times cheaper minus the initial cost of a vaping device, and a heavy smoker would probably spend £80-90 a month. And depending on what you're vaping, the price can be even lower!

What are the health effects of vaping?

Studies by the British Medical Association have shown that vaping is 95% less harmful than smoking. The NHS supports using electronic cigarettes in its Quit Smoking/Stoptober campaigns. There is no carbon monoxide or tar in the vapour, as confirmed by doctors and recent studies from the Royal College of Physicians.

Is it legal to vape indoors? Are e-cigarettes affected by the UK smoking ban?

Some places have started to ban indoor e-cigarette use, there may be no-smoking signs in public places, and many now include e-cigarettes.
